Rome, May 24, 2024 – A new recognition for director, journalist, and writer Stefania Capobianco, who together with colleague Francesco Gagliardi received the Directing Award for “Best Transmedia Work Cinema – Literature” at the 13th edition of the Curcio Prize for Creative Activities for their work Mò Vi Mento – Lira di Achille.

The awards ceremony took place in the prestigious Hall of Honor at the National Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions in Rome, in the presence of representatives from the cultural, institutional, and academic worlds.

The prize, promoted by the Armando Curcio Association in collaboration with Armando Curcio Editore and the Armando Curcio Institute, recognized the project by Capobianco and Gagliardi as an exemplary model of transmedia storytelling, innovatively combining cinema and literature.

Mò Vi Mento – Lira di Achille stands out for its dual artistic expression: a successful film awarded at various national festivals, and simultaneously a book published by Armando Curcio Editore, which amplifies the content and message of the work through a parallel and complementary medium.

This project has successfully spoken to diverse audiences by blending writing, imagery, and critical reflection.

The award once again confirms the artistic and cultural value of Stefania Capobianco’s work, who has always been committed to creating works that unite different languages and generations.
