Stefania Capobianco is a journalist, host, writer, screenwriter, director, and film and television producer. She graduated with honors in Arts and Philosophy, specializing in Performing Arts and Multimedia Production at La Sapienza University of Rome, and has built a career that combines a passion for communication, writing, and cinema.
In journalism, she has collaborated with the newspaper *La Città di Salerno*, numerous online publications, and major national organizations such as Codacons and CILA Nazionale. She has served as head of press office and marketing manager for several companies, as well as a spin doctor during the municipal elections in the town of Pertosa.
She is the author of children's books published by Armando Curcio Editore and has written screenplays such as *Mò Vi Mento – Lira di Achille*, *The Scent of Cedar*, and *Mediterranean Diet Example to the World*. Creator and artistic director of the Logos Museum in Vibonati (SA), she curated the setup of the world’s largest nativity scene.
She has hosted cultural events featuring prominent figures such as Vittorio Sgarbi and Maurizio Casagrande, and has received numerous awards for her direction and screenplay of the film *Mò Vi Mento – Lira di Achille*, including the “Golden Cat for Cinematic Direction,” the “Anita Ekberg Award,” the “Golden Pegasus” from the Flaiano International Awards, the “Curcio Award,” the “Grand International Venice Golden Lion Award,” and “Best Direction” at the Salerno International Film Festival.
In 2022, she received the “International Carthage Cultural Award” at the European Parliament in Rome for her contributions to journalism. After serving as CEO of FG Pictures, she founded DirAmare Cinema e TV, where she currently serves as CEO.
She is the creator, writer, director, and host of the television program *Signori si parte – Treni storici in giro per l’Italia*, aired on LA7, which explores Italy through historical trains, in collaboration with the FS Foundation of the Italian State Railways Group.
