MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET

Susan is 6 years old, and her keen eyes catch every detail of the traditional Thanksgiving parade that ushers in the holiday season. A cheerful old man dressed as Santa Claus rides on a large float, but Susan watches distractedly. She doesn't believe in Santa Claus; it's just a legend, or at least that's what her mother, Doris, has always told her.

Yet this Santa, whose real name is Kris Kringle, is different from all the others. With his gentle manner and a series of fortunate events, he makes Doris and Susan question their certainties, showing them the importance of having faith, even when common sense advises against it.

But just when it seems he's succeeding, Kris is labeled as delusional and must prove before a judge that he is the real Santa Claus, convincing Susan and Doris that he's much more than just a kind old man with a white beard.
